WGI provides sandblasting media from our Emerald Creek facility in Fernwood, Idaho (U.S.A) and our Indian operations in Tamil Nadu,India. Garnet is a superior blasting media due to its hardness, high specific gravity, low heavy metal content, low dusting and recylcability. Above all garnet is low in free silica.

Emerald Creek offers the following mesh sizes for sandblasting abrasive

#8/12, #16, and #25 These are the larger sizes and used in heavy duty blasting for maximum cutting power, profile and speed.

#36 and #30/40 These premier products provide the standard in control and optimum profile for coatings applications requiring more precision. Surface cleanliness is excellent.

#50 and #60 A finer mesh abrasive for lighter and less rigorous applications on softer sub-straits such as aluminum.

Emerald Creek mines and processes one of the premier garnet deposits in North America, and provides this garnet either washed or un-washed. Product can be packaged in 50, 100, 2000, or 4000lb bags. Standard Packaging is 4,000lbs per pallet.

    Our Indian operations in Tamil Nadu, India offers the following mesh sizes for sandblasting abrasive.

    #12/20 and #20/40 These are the larger sizes and used in heavy duty blasting for maximum cutting power and speed.

    #20/60 and #30/60 These sizes provide more control and optimum profile for coatings applications requiring more precision.

    This material comes packaged in 25KG HDPE or paper bags packed in 1MT jumbo bags or 1MT jumbo bags. Standard packaging is 1 metric ton per big bag. Pallets are not standard but available.
