 Garnet is an ideal water filter media. Garnet is a chemically inert and non-metallic mineral, which is commonly found in the natural environment. WGI Heavy Minerals, Inc. provides filtration media from our Emerald Creek facility located in Fernwood, Idaho (U.S.A). This product occurs both in large sizes conducive to support beds, and in smaller sizes for cap beds and is dense enough to allow faster back flushing. The sizes for filtration range from #8/12 to #50.
